Beefalo is a cross between domestic cows and the North American Bison. A full-blood Beefalo does not contain less than 3/8 Bison. While it is as tender and tasty as beef, Beefalo offers many benefits for the health-conscious consumer. Beefalo produces a carcass that contains less fat and cholesterol than any bovine bred in the U.S The exceptional quality of Beefalo meat has been recognized by the USDA and was acknowledged in 1985 when it approved a "roll stamp" identification of "Beefalo Beef" which is applied to the carcass during processing. |

Beefalo Meats, a family operated ranch, is a division of Northwest Reproduction Center, a cattle genetics company. We recognized the unaddressed dilemma of high cholesterol in red meat and saw an opportunity to provide the consumer with an alternative. Our Beefalo are raised in Ellensburg, Washington on an "all natural vegetarian diet". We certify that no hormones, steroids, antibiotics or animal by-products are used. |

Freezer Beefalo packages are available. We sell halves, front or hind quarters or 1/8ths which are 1/2 of a quarter. Prices include delivery to the Metropolitan Seattle area.
